Ben Veenstra Ben Veenstra is a lecturer at NHTV and teaches in the International Tourism bachelor programmes as well as the Master in Tourism Destination Management. This is his perspective on the 2010 ITMC fieldwork to Australia. Being invited to join the 2010 fieldtrip to Australia, I really had the feeling going “down under”. After 1,5 [...] [...] Lorena Hofmann Lorena is a 2nd year NHTV student, who just finished her field research period in Noosa, Australia as a part of her ITMC studies. In a group of 7 students they created a destination analysis by experiencing the area, identifying and interviewing the main stakeholders and gathering, researching and reviewing available [...] [...] Welcome home! All of the 2nd year ITMC students that were delayed for their return trip home from Australia, due to the ash-cloud situation, have returned safely over the weekend. We would once again like to thank Singapore Airlines for the outstanding service and information provision during the last week. [...] The group of 50 ITMC students and employees which are, as one of our students described: “Stranded in Paradise“, will be flying back to Europe this weekend. They are scheduled on a Singapore Airlines flight out of Brisbane on Saturday morning. After a stop-over in Singapore they will continue their journey to arrive in Frankfurt on Sunday [...] [...] |
